CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS – Ferrari FF, long-term test.

CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS - Ferrari FF, long-term test.

I couldn’t afford a new FF and I couldn’t afford a used FF, but I borrowed far too much money and bought the latter anyway. What a brilliant car.

  1. You’re the man. Really enjoyed the Rogan podcast. Can’t wait for the
Sharkworks review. Hoping you can drive Rogans 3.9 and the 4.1!

FF review was spot on. Appreciate the finance figures. Everyday functional
super hatch? Yes please. Super rare in Canada.

  2. Props for detailing the finance figures!

This is precisely the reason why I prefer the FF to the F12, and the one
Ferrari which I would actually love to own. Its like a bigger, more grown
up and more expensive alternative to the 911. A wagon that can take four
people and their luggage and just happens to have a V12 with around 600hp
and goes more than 200mph. I envy you Chris, for owning this. Great review
    and well done!

I am pretty sure I did see it about half a year ago

He now owns the FF and the 599? Or did he sell the 599?

  6. The sound… This makes me want to rob a bank lol!

You gotta love how Chris kicks this clip off, doing stupid things, I love
    it.

  8. That’s a nice bike with expensive components. What brand was the bike? The
    fork alone was $1000..lol

Chris, you really should review the average cars too! Which are the best
bargains for a driver’s car for the road/family, track, etc? Please do a
comparison for each category of car! We need YOU to be picking the BEST of
all cars available now. Not just among the exotics.

Just marvelous Chris . Big fan of the FF. you seem pretty normal, what
would it take a normal guy like me to get my hands on I piece of art like
that in my driveway. What’s the dollar amount one has to make a year just
to walk in the dealer? Thanks keep the videos coming.

  11. “About ten to the gallon…”
    10 MPG = 23,5 litres / 100km

    – Fuel tank capacity is 91 litres
    – Six out of nine clicks (6/9 x 91 ~ 60,67 litres left on tank) on fuel
gauge with the range of 114 miles
    – Approx. 31 litres / 100km
    = 7,59 MPG

    (I have no life)

I bet salesman got him on the part where you can fit a bike in the Ferrari
    :)

This car is like Panamera. Ugly and very unproportional on pictures and
videos, but very beautiful in person.

  14. Good on you! How much is the car insurance?

  15. NecrodoxMay 1, 2015 at 6:33 am

I’m surprised no one in the comments is going “What the fuck no manual you
    pussy?”. It’s about time.

I don’t know how somebody could give you shit for financing the car. Come
on man, this is a Ferrari and what else do you have as a gearhead in your
life to invest in? I am really happy for you Chris Harris. Good review by
    the way.

Anyone know where these roads are? Some of the roads Chris drives are
    spectacular

The Ferrari FF is just amazing. But I doubt I will be carrying any
passengers in it. Asians just don’t know how to behave in cars. They talk
too loud and rest their legs on the dashbard. They whipe their snot on the
seats and they never tap their feet when they get in. Carrying more dirt in
then they should. Also they wear cheap jeans that will transfer dye stains
to your seats! Filthy, filthy people with no manners. I cringe at the
thought that the biggest Ferrari consumers are Asians. Bleh.

  21. beastsumoMay 1, 2015 at 10:08 am

wow the sound!!!! Ferrari makes the best engine noise imo. makes me jizz
    my pants every time.

  22. already seen this one, still brilliant!

I disagree that a Ferrari is 3 cuts above any other reasonably priced car.
These days, all car manufacturers have the capability to make such a car as
this Ferrari, engineering-wise, but can price it reasonably by selling many
more. Exclusivity-wise, yes a Ferrari is 3 cuts above just because they
choose to only make about 2000. That to me is artificial. But technically,
the Ferrari is not 3 cuts above, maybe 1/2 a cut above and any other car
manufacturer is just a CEO’s decision away from making a similar car and
    undercutting Ferrari.

That said, CH is himself 3 cuts above most auto journalists in ways
    technically, insightfully, clarity, relevancy.

Is that car huge or is Chris tiny?

  25. daniel55645May 1, 2015 at 11:22 am

You’d have to be a mom, a Ferrari collector, or just crazy for this Ferrari
to be the one you buy.
